Repetition has taken over what was once an interesting and perhaps at one point innovative community. It has fallen in line with all other communities that become to large for the 'volunteers' to actually care about quality or content. It's fascinating to witness the process, and at the same time a little sad. There are few communities around now that still retain community status and not just 'another large message board' status. RIP GrassCity RIP Cannabis.Com
Exactly what I was thinking. You've been here four months and you're commenting on the state of the forums?
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
Why can't it be a nice large message board community? Perhaps not a close knit group of friends, but a large group of strangers that still want to contribute to something entertaining ... This coming from a person who is a member of this community and another smaller one. So, not RIP But Change and Evolution: Monkey to Ape: Big Bang to your experience Now: God to human consciousness. Change is inevitable. Sometimes you just have to roll with it, Or go somewhere else. ... Also, You've only been a member for three months ... ???
Things have changed though: A lot of blades before 2011 have either become banned or don't come here anymore. (well, the "classic" blades)
Maybe if you bought a membership or actually bought something from the shop, they would be able to pay the mods more than minimum wage. If you give the mods more money, it gives them more incentive to delete threads like this, which just gets made like every 2 weeks.
I hope you're spamming Or you aren't serious. I really hope you don't think you're on a higher plane than everyone else. And I hope you don't actually think paying the mods more to delete more threads is a solution. If people are posting about there being too many members, making it harder to make personal connections, deleting threads pointing out that very real reality wont help. Maybe restricting membership or flat out deleting members might, but it's easier on the moral of the community to just work with what we've got, and not hang up on what we had, or think we are better than others. Those last two lead to almost all the problems. Way more than the amount of money the mods make does.
I just like to read about crazy shit. For five years.. But as an 08' member I can say it isn't what it used to be. Pandora's box for sure.
Red is an "old school member". Old ass member that have been here a while get red, but ive seen some people have red and only been here a year.. A bit of favoritism plays a part. Orange is a paid member
