  1. I was just wondering what exactly is the formula for grams per watt?
I am planning on using a 1000 watt hps light with about a 6x6 floor space and an 8 plant hydro farm kit cause im lazy i work 6 days a week and dont feel like building my own system.

I am planning on maximizing light efficiency with reflective materials ect ect and will prolly be using ak-47 seeds.
Anyways i was just wondering does the formula include the amount of plants you grow? or since i am using 1000 watts should i assume a yield of around 1k grams?

  2. A good average EXPERIENCED grower will get a half a gram per watt. I think that is the formula you must have heard.

It basically means if you are spending the money on the utilities for a 1000 Watts, you should get about a pound. Whether you have 3 plants or whether you have 30 in your space depends on you. Of course the smaller your plants are at the time they go into flowering the more plants you need.
