Government going after encryption

  1. This should come as no surprise, they want all the secrecy in the world for "National Security" purposes but you cannot have any privacy due to "National Security". They have to have access to all data " 'cuz terrorists bruh". I bet they hate the black market, all that freedom and money flowing and they don't get to steal their share. All the knowledge and opinions flows encrypted and they cannot censor or silence what they cannot see! Out of control.

But wait "The law would only come into effect after a warrant for the data is issued by a U.S. court, based on probable cause that a crime has occurred." Yeah I don't buy that, we all know how they rubber stamp like a printing press.

  2. I don't mind it. If I type words like the b one that sounds like from. Or the bad type of porn, stuff like that then my details flag up on the govornments computers.
I'm glad they restrict privacy in certain areas. Makes us all safer imo.
If things like that weren't in place we'd have much more drugs, much more guns, much more people getting into stuff they really shouldn't be getting into.
There are limits obviously. I'm against some of what goes on but I approve of most of it so I'm quite happy with the way things are in that respect.

  4. on a more serious note, i'm ok with the proposal because of the perceived notion the government wont consider anything i post or link to as affecting national security or undue embarrassment. we are all constantly reminded of the heinous acts of the 1% psychopaths in the world that do all manner of sick stuff so i say doom on them.

get their ip address and blast them with a high frequency laser that causes their head to explode is ok with me.

  5. Think about political dissidents, activists, journalists, hell the way things are going, half the population could be considered political enemies and this could be weaponized.

  6. i'm confident you know about China's "social score" program? I did not know this until the covid deal but Singapore ranks up there as a top censored and surveiled country (soverign nation). i think the whole world is being watched. even me.

  7. For the first time in history 1 man has the power of an entire empire

simply put thru computers to the web,

trying to stop anything is a foolz errand

TOR (usnavy) is a grand example

" Sorry officer was not me but my A.I. and thats still on upgrade"

another is the Fail of the movie companies to prevent pirating

all the more reason to update software regular and staying up to date with Govt demands

and good for the Taliban for refusing those ex army iphones ...lol

  8. I guess those VPN companies are too successful lately.
