my buddy thinks he will be able to grow dank in the attic of his apartment.. i dont think its possible unless hes willing to spend ALOT of cash to set up perfect conditions. he has 0% experience with growing before but thinks hes gonna be able to do it out of no where. i told him hes gonna epic fail. thoughts/estimates on how much it would cost to make this possible? sidenote: we live in chicago, shitty winters, shitty summers. and hes trying to grow in a shitty attic.. haha.
You are right, an attic grow is very challenging if you don't spend to maintain moderate temps. You probably would need to build out a grow room or grow box, insulate it all the way around, and install heat and a/c.
