Just throwing some songs out there, I'm a distance runner and I go to the gym so I always need new shit to keep me going. These are my favorites. Roadrunner- Sex Pistols God Save the Queen- Sex Pistols (if you're into old school punk rock you can never go wrong with these guys) Free Will- Rush Tom Sawyer- Rush (fucking awesome song) New World Man- Rush Run to the Hills- Iron Maiden Bulls on Parade- Rage Against the Machine (FAVORITE SONG EVER to work out to, gets me so pumped up) Dirt- Phish Beautiful People- Marilyn Manson King Without a Crown- Matisyahu 99 Problems- Jay-Z (great song to keep you going) I Want You Back- Jackson 5 Who's That Lady- Isley Brothers I Would Die 4 U- Prince (maybe it's just me but I've loved this song since I was a little girl) Baila Morena- Hector el Father (Spanish rap kinda, I'm Latina so idk if you guys are into this but give it a chance) Low- Cracker Surrender- Cheap Trick Atrevete- Calle 13 Dammit- Blink 182 El Gran Varon Simon- Willie Colon (I like running to salsa music, again maybe it's a Latina thing ) Diamonds and Guns- The Transplants 12:51- The Strokes Kids- MGMT
Not my kind of workout music, but whatever slips your slide I guess Some mainstays of my lifting and heavy bag playlists are: Raining blood, Angel of Death - slayer Lashed to the Slavestick - Nile Bathe in Blood, Thrasher - Evile Damnation for the Weak, Though Shall Not Fear - Lazuras A.D. Fall of Sipledome, Riding the Snake - Testament Rectifier - Tankard Crucification _ Hobbs Angel of Death Cybermind - Artillery Scar Spangled Banner - Exodus Take no Prisoners - Megadeth Heartwork, Buried Dreams - Carcass Battery - Metallica End of the Line - Devildriver I rotate other songs in and out. Generally more thrash and death, especially technical stuff. Anything that can get me pumped up or focused. I will listen to full Coroner and Sepultura albums when doing technique work for kickboxing and studying, I love their stuff. Gets me focused like no other. Working out is always better with music and a little weed
I listen to heavy metal when I'm pissed off and working out. Nothing beats that feeling. I'm the opposite, I like smoking after I work out. I hate smoking before working out, I have no motivation to physically push myself. I like hiking and kayaking high but not going to the gym or even running.
Kayaking high is awesome! If I did not live in the frozen hellscape that is minnesota I'd enjoy it far more frequently. I beleive the fact that I have switched to vaporization exclusively plays into the working out high. The high, at least for me, is much more conducive to physical activity.
Here's just a few of mine: Any bon era AC/DC gotta have KYUSS People of the Sun- RATM Stranglehold- Ted Nugent(one of my all time favorites) Rooster- AIC Kashmir- Led Zeppelin Motorhead- Killed By Death There's a bunch more but I try to center it around rock/metal. Gets the blood goin'http://cloudimages.grasscity.com/smilies/smoking.gif
Iggy Pop - Lust For Life Slipknot - Duality Kanye West - Homecoming T.I. - Top Back Metallica - One Metallica - Fuel Led Zeppelin - The Ocean
