Im growing outside in 5 gallon buckets and want to keep the cost pretty low so FF soil is a little to $$$. I would like to make my own soil but everyone is suggesting things like bone meal, and kelp meal, witch are pretty expensive. Is this a decent mixture to grow in? Im growing NL if that makes a difference. Thanks guys.
peat moss is the basis (50%) you skipped that one (airier than top soil) 30% perlite 20% nutes (kelp for K -or ashes-, high P guano, blood meal/castings for N etc...) lime 5 cups to a bale of peat moss for seedlings just use 20 castings 50 peat 30 perlite
