Jurassic Park and The Lost World are both awesome. Pretty much anything by Michael Creighton is awesome.
I just picked this up the other day. It's about dwarves and elves and human-slave warriors and weird fantasy crap that I never take interest in but it only cost me 3 bucks so it's a win anyways.
stranger in a strange land, if youre into quantum mechanics, the strangest man, paul dirac is one of the discoverer of quantum mechanics, its a really easy read, and very interesting
hmmm... where do I start? You should read Dies the Fire by SM Stirling, and then the following books in the series. It's about what happens when technology gets whiped out in our world and everyone resorts back to ancient times. He also has another series that start with the book Island in the Sea of time, in which a group of people find themselves living thousands of years in the past one night. Infected by Scott Sigler is really good, and there is a free audio podcast version of the story on itunes.
