Going straight into clay balls?

  1. Hey I'm wondering am I able to put a germinated seed straight into clay balls (bubble bucket) or do I need to put the into rockwool first?

  11. I think I'm going to give 2 a go, 1 germinating in the clay balls and one already germinated one to see what works best for me, thanks everyone for the quick responses!

also, i uncover them solely for the purpose of pics

they stay cool and dark until fully sprouted. i also keep my res covered so no light leaks in, and it helps keep it cool. there's a lot of water and it's harder to keep the temp stable if your enviroment is less that savory, such as mine

  14. Good point.
