They did some decent music in their day but I,don't think there was anything profound about them . And Axel is just a dirtball these days. Slash, yeah...but the band? Naaah....
I really like Appetite for Destruction. One of my top ten albums. The Rock and Roll HOF has become a joke, though. So it doesn't really matter.
All you haters need to realize what appetite for destruction was and still is a timeless piece of art . none of emo , or dubbys or rappys will ever come close to what that one particular album did in sales , grammys , or ...I cant even explain it but hands down a classic . now as for the newer gnr i wouldn't let you pay me to listen to it . hall of fame ....maybe.
