GH 3 part Nutrient recommendations for CEA Room

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by kunkgrow, Nov 23, 2016.

  1. Hi guys,

I am about to start a new CEA small room experiment.
The purpose of this crop is to cultivate medical grade material for a cancer patient.

The grow room will be divided in two parts:
    Grow chamber 0,8 x 1,5 meters
    Control chamber 2,20 x 1,5 meters
    (2,50 meters high)

4 pot RDWC with 1 brain, 1 top off rez.

    Environment:
    • Split AC
    • Dehumidifier
    • O2Grow Electrolysis
    • CO2 Enrichment
    • Chiller
    • Platinum P900 LED
    • RO water filtration
    • UPS Power Backup
    • Carbon Filter Scrubbing
    • ULPA Recirculation Filter

My question is: should I boost or not boost the nutrient solution? O2Grow says to reduce nutes up to 50%... CO2 Enrichment articles says to boost. I feel conflicted!
Or to hell with everything and just feed as needed?

  2. I was setting up the position of the buckets just now and I think maybe I will redesign the system for 2 buckets.
I don't know, I think they will be a bit tight against each other, unless I SCROG if I maintain 4.
Which is best in terms of yield? 2x big free growing plants? or 4x scrog?

  3. Kind reminder to anyone out there who can give a shout! Thanks!

  4. I'd do two plants and feed as they require.
    No idea what CEA is...

    Best of luck with it
