Hey guys, been off for a while getting my shit together for university and work but I had a friend over the other day and she recorded me playing guitar so I thought I'd post it and see what you guys think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebYsnsd6Kyc "Hey guy's, well as you can probably tell I haven't picked up a guitar in a while, let alone listened to this song in years, so it's a little slower than the original and a little sloppy, but that's it for the excuses Ibanez ART100 coupled with a VOX Valvetronix VT40+ using built in effects." I can definitely do better than that, just really rusty, but I was still happy I got it on the first try I'd love to start a band but I don't feel like I have that level of perfection yet that would let me play live flawlessly. Does anyone have any tips/stories on how they got back into music?
I got back into playing guitar by getting inspired again. I listened a bunch of Van Halen, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Metallica, Hendrix, etc. non stop for weeks Then playing guitar got fun again Just listen to whatever style you like
