ok well i have one seed and ive been trying to germinate it for like 3 days now and its kinda cracking open and i can see like a white thing where the crack is. is that a good or bad thing? and its in a paper towel and the water is kinda cold and its in a tupperware container
That is a good thing, that white-thing you are looking at is the root. Keep it in a dark and warm place.
Papertowel method is popular but not how nature intended it to happen. Straight in to soil works just as well. Either way keep it warm, not cool. Good luck!
