Is Miracle Grow with plant food in it ok to germinate my seeds in? I will change soil when i transfer to a new pot once it hits vegetation. Miracle Grow is all i had lying around and i think i need to put my seeds in now. Also when i first stick the seed in the soil do i have to have it lit 24/7? Or just when it breaks the soil? Thanks
HIGH All, MG is for rooted plants and flowers...not seedlings. The soil will over feed the little ones and maybe die...you need a medium that has no fertilizer in it. Lights when they break the soil...(if they do).
