germinating question.. please help

    So i am using a moist paper towel inside of a zip lock baggy and it has been nearly 2 days now with some beans in between the sheets. How long should i suspect to wait until i see some tap roots wanting to peek outside of their shell? I read a few blogs and it seems within like 30 hours some people see roots and im almost at the 2 day mark in 2 hours...

    one seed took me 3 days on took me 24 hours.

    as far as im concerned it can take anywhere from 24 hours, to a week.

    I have never used a zip lock baggy and have always had sprouts by 2 days. Just be sure they are in a cool dark place and that your paper towels stay damp, not wet. Light is the enemy during this stage. Light + Root = bad.
