I am in the process off germanating about 100 seeds. I am following the instructions in stylez1877 "germanation 420" thread and had a few questions. I am planning on growing indoors for a few weeks before moving them outside. My main question is: How long after I place the sprouting seeds in the dirt do I wait to turn the light on and what should my light cycle be(keep in mind I will be putting them outside in a few weeks). Thats the only question I have now but I will have many more when the time comes.
if you can just keep the planted seeds in an area other than where your light is, and as they individually sprout up out of the soil, move the sprouted ones under your light. they don't need any light until they've pushed up out of the soil. for the light cycle 18/6 or 24/0 is fine. I'd leave them on 24/0 for about a week just to get a good start and then drop it to 18/6.
