How long do fungus gnats take to cause serious damage to a plant? I have recently seen a lot of mature gnats flying around my grow room. I only have 1 week left so I'm wondering if I can just ignore them.
i got a simular prob...white flies...im also not far away...im not to worried...dont think you need be either....i dont want to use any chems coz i dont want to smoke any...supose your in the same boat...good luck...laters jay
If you can get to your local growshop. They will be able to help you out with either a bio fix (good bugs) or a chemical fix. Those gnats are a sign of rotting material. Often times it is a form of pythium. The adult gnats simply carry the disorder to other plants. If not treated soon they will overrun your growspace. A peststrip will work but that will only get the adults. The larvae in the soil are what's killing your plants. Good luck guys. gm714
