Fumed Pipe

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by murchison, Mar 23, 2011.

  1. If you clean your pipe and lose all your color, will it ever come back? And I'm talking about cleaning it with alcohol to remove all the res.

  2. Why would you lose the color of your pipe?

  3. Lose the color? Like when you buy a new one and the colors change? If you clean a pipe like that im fairly certain the color remains because it is a temperature shift in the glass and is not due solely to the resin collection.

  4. Oh, I was under the impression the color changes because of the resin collection.

  5. Well resin changes the color to an extent but only due to the fact that it is dark and builds up over time and blocks light out making the colors on your pipe darker. But many pipes come with glass that when heated over many uses begins to change colors.
