Its been fucking 3 months since I sent my fucking 360 in to be fucking repaired. They were going to ship me a box so that I wouldnt have to pay for shipping, after a month, and after three different people told me the box would be there in "3-5 business days" I said fuck it and spent $35 to ship to it fucking Toronto. Checking every week on updates, each fucking time they said 3-5 business days. Well 2 more months have gone by and they said it has left the repair center, but thats probably just a fucking lie they said to get my ass off the phone. Yesterday was the 5th day (yet again), I called today and they said they couldnt find a shipping number or some fucking thing, so they cant figure out where it is. 3 fucking months for the thing to get repaired, the repair center is 45 minutes away for fuck sakes. This is fucking bullshit, Bill Gates and that whole team of fucks should be ashamed. All the money I've spent on Microsoft over the years, and they treat the customers with this fuckin shit. I feel sorry for the customer service people that I unload on because I know its not their fault, its just a really shitty program they have going, and no one knows what the fuck is going on. I try to keep my cool with them but when I bought something for $400 and it doesnt even last a year, then it takes almost a third of a year to fix the fucking thing im gonna get fucking mad. Im not even a hardcore gamer, I like to play a few hours a week, but when I get this fucking thing back i dont think ill ever get off it. /rant
I sent mine back to them due to the 'red lights' problem. I had another Xbox in the house so I didn't really care that it had broke, but I did want it fixed so I sent it in quickly. When I got it back it was still fucking broken. Now they are both broken and I have to send both in.
Don't even say that man. If that thing comes back and it still doesnt work im gonna throw it at the fucking wall, and probably go on a drug induced rampage at the Microsoft hq in Toronto. Please don't let that shit happen
mine got the red ring of death maybe 2 months ago, and my brother told me to call some number. i called it but it told me to go online. i forgot for a while and then it occured to me to go on there a few weeks later, but i got the website name worng and it sent me to porn ahha. i finally got the right website but i don't understand what i'm supposed to do. they should just have game stores handle it. like you don't even get your xbox back, you just get a different repaired one. so what i mean is microsoft sends willing stores the repaired ones, and if yours breaks you can just go leave yours with them and pay a small fee (so it's worthwhile for the stores) and pick up one that works. fucking good idea right?
I'm with you man...fuck microsoft. I don't understand how a large, prosperous company is such a joke when it comes to customer service and the quality of their products. Guess everyone just complains, but no one does shit.
Mac can't even get most computer games to work, let alone build their own system. Besides, I'd rather have a microsoft anything over Mac. And to OP. That sucks bro. I'd be pissed as hell.
thats not rare find I rather have microsoft then apple. I hate apple. I think they did a find job but yes, customer service sucks. thats all... Like I said and I'll say again, Microsoft rushed to get 360 out first before ps3 for money. They put cpu/gpu right under the hard-drive. how stupid is that!? very. thats why we got RROD. for me, I just open my 360 and put thermal paste on it and it will never get RROD, but again I'm a computer geek. They products is far better then others, If it wasn't for microsoft then we'll probley just got internet by now. same with computers. Apple wasn't great at all back in the days, till microsoft started 95 then apple needed to catch up, so you gotta thank them for that. back to 360, If you got new 360, your failer rate is way low, probley like 5 percent or so cause they put new chip in it and its more efficent. I think your order is a bit messed up. If you're a real geek, you should know that: Linux>ALL Apple>Microsoft (OS 10 is a UNIX based platform, hence the greater stability)

Microsoft is always looking for a way to fuck with ya, man. This is also why they should let the Japanese and only the Japanese make video game consoles. Just today, I had to get my third game disc finished after the fuckin' Xbox ate it up and put those large, circular scratches on it. Only had the RRoD once, though, and that was after playing a lot in the summer heat. I used to play on a GameCube and N64 all the fuckin' time and never had any problems, but two months with an Xbox, and it all goes to shit.
I got Rock Band 3 times, each time after 2 days I would get those, after the third time I said fuck it and got like 3/4 my cash back or some bullshit like that.
That is just 360. I never had any problems with pc, handheld pc, software. Xbox was a good console, never had problems, never heard anybody had problems with it. So so you're a "wii" fan, phff that console can eat my shit. It the same thing as gamecube. PS3 is having problems too but you know, they put powerful graphic card, gpu, cpu in there with shitty fan. This is the first time, it acts like a pc(well xbox was the first one but it improved soo much in just 5 years.) . Gotta give them props for that! If you know how to mod it then go with better fans and improve it lil more. My friend put a ps2 in xbox, hook up with hdd.
All consoles can eat my shit. They're just pidgeonholed, proprietary computers that cost way too much. I'll stick to PC.
I love pc but pc games are dying, too many people downloading games. That what force the game company to leave pc and go to console. The companies need money to make more games, Console is the best way to do it. At some point, you're going to console to play games, There will be games for pc but not that much anymore. In the future, maybe 10 to 15 years sony, nintendo, microsoft is going have to work together for consoles. The reason why is the market demand, game companies and money. Its a hugh benfits for game companies and maybe for console companies too. who knows...
I have my share of Xbox 360 repair stories. It all started out a few years ago. Whatever year it was that 360 came out (06 i think), I got one that Christmas. So after about 4 days of usage, it just stopped working on me. I don't remmber if it was RRoD but the screen froze and nothing would work. SO I called and they sent the box and I shipped it in. I got it back a few weeks, maybe a month, later. It worked for a few hours then did the exact same fucking thing where it would freeze up. So I had to send that back, then they sent it back (actually I think it was a new one) and it worked fine for about a year. Then after a year it broke again. It was still under warranty so I sent that shit in and within a few weeks got a working Xbox 360. It sill serves me to this day, but damn I had to go through a lot of shit.
ive owned three disc munchin, self destructin deadbox360s before. They are really fun while they behave, but ive yet to see one not go defective. arent ps3's moderately priced these days?
