One of my childhood friends had five bypasses and a hole in his heart repaired today. Life is going to change pretty drastically for him.
He's had a bad few months. Sleep apnea pretty bad. And he's a smoker. Or should I say Ex Smoker now, hopefully. They think it was the sleep apnea that caused the Heart Attack that landed him in the hospital in the first place.
His blood pressure is fluctuating pretty badly, so the doctors are trying to get that under control. He also has bad COPD. He's sleeping now, but hopefully he recovers from the setbacks and comes back stronger. I'm definitely thinking about him a lot.
