freezing temps!

  1. i already transplanted by plants in the ground a week ago when it was consistantly in the 80's. Now the low tonight is supposed to be 27-32. I put cups over my plants and put camo clothes on top of the cups to keep in the warmth. Will this work?

  2. It should. Just remember to remove the cups & camo. Good luck.

  3. not good at all, this can cause stunted growth, and i doubt cups and camo would make a difference.

  4. it must have worked, they survived. But one of my sprouts stem is weak and now the sprout is on the ground. i piled dirt around the base to make it stand up but is it already too late to save it?

  5. Give it a little time and it should turn around. It sounds like you did the right thing to prepare for the freezing weather. I've done a little research recently on this topic and they should recover.
