Fox farm soil

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by Johnnipoo, May 25, 2020.

  1. I am hearing good and bad things about fox farm soil. I am using it for my plants but as well as liquid nutrients, that I water 1 tsp / gallon, every other day. I am going to stop with the nutrients and stick with water and the soil. My plants have seemed to freeze their grow. I hate seeing them stop at such a young age. First time growing outdoors in a pot. Help?

  2. That soil is pretty hot so you don’t really need nutes until flower or late veg if you are going long.

You probably overfed the plant and now it’s in toxicity.
    Got any pics?

  6. I brought them on the patio due to it raining. They usually get sun from 9am to 6pm

  7. 9 hours of sun is still pretty low amount.
Might need to add supplemental light if possible.

  8. That should be plenty of light. You may have some root issues then and I would stop feeding and just water 6 inches out from the plant to encourage the roots to reach out to the water. I would have started them in smaller pots because it's easier to get the water amount correct.

  9. Should be 3 ft tall and ready to flower with about eight nodes already
