Found a gnat

  1. I see some thing on one of my leaves, looked a little closer and a gnat just chilling there. It eluded me for some time and somehow was unsuccessful at killing it, but it defiantly flew out of the tent..

Is finding one something to worry about? Also what do they actually do, eat the leaves?

  2. If it was a fungus gnat - they don't eat leaves or cause any damage at all to your plant as adult flyers. They lay eggs in moist soil which hatch and become larvae and eat roots. Easily taken care of if you start seeing a lot of them.
