Foreign music

    I know quite a few people who listen to rap music that isn't in their natural spoken language and they often prefer it to listening in English or whatever language it is they speak best. I personally listen to a fair bit of Polish rap, since I can both understand it and also find it interesting to listen to still as I'm no master of the language.

    Here are a couple of songs I like (Both by stoner rappers):

    So, anyone else like foreign music, and if so, do you listen to music you can understand, or do you prefer languages you don't understand at all just for something "different"?

    I'll contribute to this thread...I like to listen to foreign hip hop sometimes because they have really dope beats & sometimes I like to think about what the song means in general and also on a personal level...if that makes sense.

    Currently listening to Noir Désir, French alt-rock from the nineties...

    well alot of the bass driven music i listen to hails from foreign countries, mostly european, so i guess ill contribute.

    i guess most of it i can still understand, but regardless its the sound and feel that drives me, even if i cant understand the vocals or there are none at all, them foreigners make some fuckin tunes.
