Foolmelt - Original Sensible - Blueberry Ghost OG, Black Gum, Kali AK, Pure Kush, Pineapple Slick

Thanks to the generosity of Original Sensible seeds I get to continue to test their newest and best genetics and share my results with you, the members of this wonderful forum. You've already seen what the Black Gum and Pineapple Slick can do in my other thread but I will continue to document them here along side the Blueberry Ghost OG, Kali AK and Pure Kush.



As for my method,

Everything these days gets grown in 25% coco, 50% perlite and 25% hyrdoton.

They get fed MaxiGrow and epsom salts in veg at 0.5-1.5EC, MaxiBloom and KoolBloom at 1.5-2.0EC during flower and Florakleen and water for the last 2 weeks. The plants get a combination of HPS and LED, as well as floros during veg.

 

Started germing 2x Blueberry Ghost OG, 2x Pure Kush and 2x Kali AK today as well as moved one of the Black Gum into flower. I'll post some pictures either tonight or tomorrow morning.

 

Yes, I don't always put hydroton on top though cause its easier to tell if it needs water when I can see the coco.

 

Moved one more Black Gum into flower today, this one is a new pheno from seed looks indica dom.


And chopped this one today, smells like a tire fire no joke really pungent stuff. The plant could not support itself any longer all 4 colas were just barely not touching the ground and the trichs were all cloudy but it still wanted to shoot out more white hairs.



I think today was day 56 and she got over 2 weeks of flush, should be some decent smoke as long as it doesn't dry too fast.

This stuff smokes really nice once cured, super skunky and fruity, quite heady with some subtle indica vibes to keep it all balanced. Its almost too strong to smoke during the day, but I'm doing it anyway

 

5G Hempy Black Gum, started flush a couple days ago buds look tight and frosty.



5G DWC Black Gum SCROG, very frosty and lots of buds just staring the flush now but its already pretty faded. Its only on day 42 by my records but maybe I messed that up.




Last Super Auto Lemon Haze, she so fat I dont know how its still standing. Been flushing for a week or two now but still lots of white pistols and she's foxtailing all over the place.




Critical, standing tall. Hopefully a good yielding pheno.

We have tap roots on most of the seeds so they all went into solos. Along side the 2x Pure Kush. 2x Kali AK and 2x Blueberry Ghost OG I also planted 6x Pineapple Kush seeds from the last Pineapple Slick I harvested, 1x Y Griega and 1x Channel + from Medical Seeds.




Changed out the res on my 5G DWC Black Gum today to start the flush and was surprised how clean it was after 2 months of sitting under the screen. It never got changed out completely or any h202, Hydroguard or Cannazyme just 1/16th tsp Tetra Pond Sludge Reducer every two weeks.

5G DWC SCROG Black Gum last night, cut most of it down today but left about an oz worth of popcorn buds to mature. Once I had it out of the screen the Northern Lights took its place. Very dense buds on this one.



And the 5G Hempy Black Gum, go the same treatment anything with amber trichs got the chop and the immature stuff stayed on the plant.



Decided to cut the Super Auto Lemon Haze too, she had more white pistols every day and almost every sugar leaf had died off. Trichs were about 5% amber so I think she had long enough. Very lemony scent, much more than the other two I grew which didn't smell like lemon until a week into cure.

And for the next round of testers. Everybody is above soil so far except for one Blueberry Ghost OG which is good, even had a decent number of the Pineapple Kush seeds sprout.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been busy fishing. I have some Black Gum almost done curing that will get some glamour shots and a smoke report soon as well as some more drying. I'll try to get some pics of the flower room tonight but for now here's my seedlings.

5/6 of the beans I dropped germed into beautiful little ladies but it looks like I'll only have one Blueberry Ghost OG this round.


And the Black Kush starting to take off, I started a second round of about 5 plants.

 

Weighed out the Black Gum harvested on June 20th and got just under 50g, smells so good though just like bubblegum after a weekish of cure.


And the 5G Hempy + 5G DWC Black Gums, got just over 2oz from each so far and have about an oz left to trim up of the DWC and an oz left on the one in the Hempy its still shitting out white hairs, gunna let it go another 4-5 days and check the trichs.




Super Auto Lemon Haze, this one yielded 45 grams of very sweet and sticky bud. Kinda fluffy but a very nice smoke.

Northern Lights

 

I harvested this Critical a couple days ago, she was a little foxtailled from the heat but looks like some decent smoke, very skunky smell and sticky as hell.


But she's not nearly as nice as this one, the tomato cage and extra 3 weeks of veg made a huge difference. Just started the flush 2 days ago so she has another 1-3 weeks.



Black Gums, some new from seed and some clones but all looking pretty good minus the slight heat stress.





Next round of testers, first we have a Pure Kush and Kali AK plus a Pineapple Slick(OSS), Pineapple Kush(Mine) and Channel +(Medical Seeds).

Finally got around to posting an update, summer is a little busy for me. For the most part everything is looking good but I've had issues with heat the last month or so, so the plants aren't as pretty as I would like them to be.

This Critical will be the next to come down, she's been flushing for 16 days now so she has a pretty decent fade just waiting for those pistils to recede and then she'll get the chop. It's not as strong smelling as its been it the past, probably due to the high heat.



Then next is the Black Gum, I have 2 around this stage but only snagged a pic of one of them tonight. I have everything packed under one light right now to try and cut the heat back a bit but I've had a lot of dead leaves latley from all the crowding.


Northern Lights, not looking too bad a bit of a claw but some nice bud sites.


The Kali AK, one of my favorites from the new batch so far very nice plant structure and deals with the heat well.


Pure Kush, also looking very nice I've topped all of these once now some earlier than others.



The Blueberry Ghost OG does not like the heat, and its a very picky eater I really hope I dont kill this one.


Black Gum, really need to take some clones and get a tomato cage on her.


Black Kush, very nice and aggressive growth so far. She stretches like the Black Gum but looks like the Master Kush, which is exactly what I wanted. Very excited to see how the bud structure is.

Sorry it took so long but here are some up to date pics.

Some of the plants are a little sad looking from all the heat lately so I left those out for now, so not included here are 2x Black Gum and 1 Critical.

Critical reveg, just started to flower. Probably the last time I'll run this one, just not as potent anything from Original Sensible even if its an easy strain to grow.

Pineapple Slick clone that's been through hell and back, need a little training/trimming and then it can go into flower. Its already 3 1/2 ft tall but kinda scrawny.

Kali AK, beast of a plant compared to the others.


Blueberry Ghost OG, still alive and starting to pick up a bit.


Black Kush, one is very healthy and the other got a little too dry one day.



I'll hopefully get around to dropping some more beans soon, weather will be getting cooler so I can start running more lights during the day.

 

Thanks, they are aggresive growers thats for sure now I just have to hope I get a female or two. The mother was a Black Gum from Original Sensible and the male was a Master Kush.

 

Cut a few branches from one of the Black Gum, should be harvesting the rest and the other plant in the next week. Very nice smell on this one, sweet and skunky should be a real nice smoke once cured.






Noticed a little bud rot on this one, my humidity is nice and low but I guess I had my plants too close together.


I also moved a Black Gum and Pineapple Slick into flower, I'll be moving the two Black Kush out as well as soon as the two Black Gum and the Northern Lights SCROG come down.

 

Finally got around to taking some pictures, I also harvested a Black Gum and the Northern Lights SCROG but forgot to take pics so I'll snap some of the cured bud in a few days. I got 2 3/4 oz off the Black Gum and 2 1/2 oz off the Northern Lights both in 5G hempys.

Up first is the last surviving Pineapple clone. She stands about 5ft tall and 4ft wide its hard to tell there is a tomato cage in there somewhere.


One of the last Black Gum, she might get reveged or I'll start a new seed to keep it going.


Pure Kush, not huge but very healthy. Has a very earthy and pungent kush scent already.


Kali AK, a little larger and still shooting up. These strains dont stretch nearly as much as the Black Gum or Pineapple Slick.


Black Kush female, very healthy/hearty and just got pollinated by the Black Kush male.


Pollen donator, very nice plant itself I've never had a male plant so heavy it fell over before.


I'll try to put up some veg pics later this week, I have a bunch of Black Kush and Lemon Kush seedlings that are about 2 weeks old and I will be starting some more seeds in a few days.
