Foliar feeding during flowering?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Hibonus, Aug 13, 2009.

  1. Is there any conflict with spraying the buds with Fert'd water...? is that going to effect taste or anything?

2nd week into flowering now... at what point should I stop? if not already

Yeah, don't spray anything on your plants. Not even with water.

  3. u can cause mold and bad taste dowin this just spray sum fan leaves if u really want with just plain distilled water but no foliar nutes and no nutes near end of harvest like 2 3 weeks before its down rimmember too flush too good luck 2 you

  4. Not even in veg?

  5. Perhaps during cloning.

  6. I thought foliar feeding was acceptable in veg too? especially if your having low humidity or your trying to leach nitrogen before taking clones?

  7. I wouldn't try to folliar feed. Plants have roots for a reason. You could do a lot more harm than good.

  8. Folliar feeding helps clones get water before they have a root system to help with uptake.

Deffinately run the risk of MOLD on your buds! Id stop ASAP

  9. I never really did it except for clones but it will be fine for veg and early flowering. Once the buds start filling out you would be begging to get mold and bud rot by foliar feeding though.
