So i've been reading the forums, browsing the ebooks, watching videos, trying to absorb as much good knowledge I can. I came across a video on Youtube in which a medical grower would flush his plants first each time he'd water with nutrients. Is this a standard practice? I don't think I've seen this yet. Also on the subject of flushing. Do you treat your tap water if the Ph is high with ph down? And the flushing helpers they sell at the hydroponic shops. Are those worth the extra cash or will water do the trick? Any help is appreciated
During the veg stage, if I noticed the plants might be getting too much fert or the ph might be off, I would flush with tap water. The ph of tap water where I live is 6.5. During the last 2 weeks of the flowering stage I flush with water twice a week. There are all kinds of theories and opinions, but this works for me and I got very good results. Hope this helps.
