So I have 6 girls on 12/12 now for the past 2 weeks. They have all shown sex and 6 out of 8 were female. I was just wondering when the plants should really start to fill out. Is there a really strong growth period at any point of the flower stage?? Thanx
Most of the "bulge" comes from the last few weeks of floweing when the plant has finished growing completely and diverts all energy to increaing bud size.
Serious flower growth will start in a week or two. And as Scott' already pointed out, the flowers will really fatten up in the last few weeks.
first 3 weeks of 12/12 is known as the stretch period. plants usually will double/triple in height. After that, plants will focus its energy into producing buds. Yea, last 2-3 weeks plants will pack on the weight.
