Is that how it should be? Or should I just start out at 12/12 ??

  2. 12/12 from the start

  3. ... i thought it was just 18/6 for about 4 weeks of veg(or untill the plants are the height you want them), and then 12/12 for flowering till you harvest...

  4. I meant 12/12 from the start of flowering. 18/6 from the beginning of the grow and then turn your timer to 12/12.

  5. lol, sounds good!

    PecE all...

  6. u can also veg with lights on 24hrs a day ... usually quicker than 18/6

  7. you give them light 12/12 so they think its budding season.... right?

  8. doesnt that stress the plants though?? dont they need at least some rest time to do whatever they have to do at night?

  9. I read in an issue of cannibis culture that veg plants don't need a dark period

  10. yea I thought it could be 24/7 light..n that'd be better cause they get even more light

  11. even plants have to sleep

  12. I think 18/6 is better than 24/7, less stressful for the plant and mimics nature better.

  13. im going to grow with 18/6 i think.. its probably less stress and even though 24/7 might be quicker id rather not fuk with natures ways if you know what i mean.. all natural and all that..

    PecE

  14. Some ways are better than nature. Thats why god gave us brains, cuz we are nature :p so.. ahh im high leave me alone lol

  15. iv'e tried it both ways and never seen a difference with exception of haveing a cheaper electric bill...i used to go 24 on but now i stick with 18 on...good luck

  16. I look at it this way...if you're talking about a plant growing outdoors and in the elements then you know that some nights will be lighter than others. Especially clear nights @ full moon. So, I don't think an indoor grow will suffer if you subject them to maximum, healthy (not too hot) light. I hear it doesn't hurt them.
