  1. Anybody know where to watch a vid or read a tutorial or any tips on the piano roll feature.

Ive learned quite a bit about how to use FL so far, But thats one area i still need help in.

Another thing is, It only lets me lay down a 16 bar thing at a time. So i have to go through and make all new 16 bar things to try to make a beat long enough for a song.

How can i set it so some instruments start at the beggining like for your intro, Then have other instruments come in for your first verse, Then other instruments for your first chorus, Then for your second verse ect.

Any one know any sites with FL help shit?

  2. Which version do you have? 3? 3.16? 4? Producer edition?

Damn, mine is all sorts of F-ed up. I gotta reinstall so unfortunately i dont have exact info but.....

you can change the number of bars in the settings menu along the top. IIRC you can adjust it from 4-64 via a scroll bar type thing.

Just mess around w/ the piano roll. Its pretty easy. Its just like the drum machine in the main window, cept you can adjust the tone (up or down octaves), and the duration of each sample.

Edit: theres a few tutorials on Youtube.

  3. Allright KSR look on the right of the box indicating your the Temp to change your pattern I usually make 8 bar patterns sixteen is way too long. Next look on the right hand corner to a group of five boxes click on the one that says PL(Playlist) to arrange your patterns 1-16 or how amny you make into a song this should help P.S on the fifth Box is your mixer really useful setting heres how it works the first one says master which is for the whole song go down to where it says 1 go to the arrow pointing down click select now select vocoder nice huh changes up your whole sound
