Well my friend gave me a Cheese seed today and i already picked out a spot in this woodsy area i know. I put this soil he gave me (he's done this before- cant remember name) and he said just to dig a hole in the soil 2-3 inches deep and put the seed in it and just cover it with some soil. He measured the spot with sunlight thing and said it was fine. Is this ok? like do i need to germinate? it just rained so the ground is very moist.
If you can sprout it indoors and get it going for a week or two then I would advise you to do that. If not then you need to be sure that nothing wild can get to your little seedling if it sprouts. I always like to sprout mine before planting, it take the guesswork out of know whether or not it sprouted or not. -C
