Well hello there. Central Washington is where i call home. I'm three weeks into flower and I believe I need to replant into five gallon pots because I noticed roots sprouting from the bottom vents. They still look healthy and are in three gallon pots now. After reading around here a bit I found that it's not too big a deal to do during this stage. I hope so anyway. Please let me know if it's a bad idea. Thank you very much and it's good to be here.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with them at this point. They're well into flower and as long as there are no other indications of problems, just keep on keeping on. I think you're more likely to unnecessarily stress them and risk causing them to hermi. It's also likely that you'd break or damage branches in the process. I recommend you just finish them off then next time plant them in the appropriate size container.
Ok, sounds good to me. Hoping the small pots don't inhibit the growth too much. That was my only concern, but it's better than a damaged plant. Thank you A Guy I really appreciate it. Got some American Dream, and Grape Inferno growing FYI.
Hey there A Guy, I couldn't help myself. I went ahead and transplanted 3 of the grape Inferno and 1of the American Dream. C'mon man, you know you would've done it too. Ha! If you look closely you can see a white bucket in the left corner. There are two others next to it in brown buckets. I'm all about trying things to see if it benefits quality and yield. First grow, let's see what works right? No broken branches and so far so good. I will pay close attention to how they compare with the undisturbed plants. I also have a couple in soft pots to see the growth difference as well as light distances and wattages. I will definitely keep you posted on their progress and or regression as it occurs. Thanks again man!
Well A Guy, it's been almost two weeks since the transplants and I have an update. I noticed this on some lower fan leaves, but I also see them on my undisturbed plants. View attachment 2417349 View attachment 2417350 Here are the tops of both strains. Here is the American Dream Here is the Grape Inferno. Come to think of it, all the plants look like that. Coincidence or calcium lock? Ph is at 6 so the troubleshooting begins! Hope all is well.
Hey Guy! Watching your grow Did you spill any nutes n those leaves? Just my 2cents... Happy Growing! Sent from my SM-A520W using Tapatalk
Hey there, have some drip lines set up for them. I alternate with nutes and water/cal-mag. Darn, the leaves didn't come up in the pics. There they are.
Hello, I figured out what was wrong with my fan leaves. Old nutes!!! My newbee ass mixed a batch of nute solution and thought I was being proactive by having it readily accessable. No bueno! After a couple 6.0ph waterings and new nutes all is banging again. Will post some pics later when I get home. Thanks y'all!! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
American Dream: Grape Inferno: I'll be keeping a close eye on them and inform of any changes. So far the American Dream is looking like a doozy!!! Sent from my LG-LS997 using Grasscity Forum mobile app

Well hello, got an update on my first indoor grow. Both American Dream and Grape Inferno are kickin' good as far as I can tell. Coming up on week 9 and began straight water last week so I got my eyes peeled! Oh, checkout this four coned freak! I performed the flower pinching technique on most to compare the density. So far the pinched are winning. Let me know what you folks think. American Dream Grape Inferno
