Okay hi everyone. I'm relatively new to this site and I'm new to growing as well and I need some help. I had 5 seeds and unfortunately only 1 germinated which is a total bummer but oh well. I am growing it outdoors butin a pot, what I want to know is how much soil is enough for the plant to grow to a decent size, I planted it about a week or so ago and it has started growing its first true leaves. There is still space in the pot for me to add more soil(the soil became compacted and lowered after watering). What amount of soil is good for the plant to grow to a decent size and can I add soil to the pot even though it has already started growing or will it mess it up?
Where are you located? If you're in the United States, it's way too late in the year to start an outdoor grow..the cold will kill it.
