Hey GC, Been lurking for a few months now grabbing as much information as I could before I venture off on this journey. So I'm germinating 4 bagseed it's going on 48hrs tonight and I can see one root starting to emerge. Hopefully by the morning they are ready to be placed in a pot. My setup : 33" x 24" x5' (WxDxH) Home made grow tent PCV pipe frame Panda film (to be added upon delivery) Light : Homemade 6x CFL light fixture with homemade reflector hood. Ok so this is around day 18. Got some advice from a fellow blade who said the wilting was probably dude to overwatering so I skipped today's feeding. A few questions if anyone wants to answer. If and when should I transplant? The girl in the solo cup will probably need it first but the other girl is getting pretty top heavy too? Also when should I begin to look for preflowers?
Yeah I'm not trying to break any records on my first run. Just seeing how the plant grows checking equipment and keeping costs low. Once I feel everything is dialed in ill throw in some good genetics and be more OCD about lighting
The title says it's your first grow so I would just PM a mod and ask them to move it over to absolute beginners, you'll probably get more exposure for help and advice over there. You could also just create an all new thread over there and repost your pics then PM a mod and ask them to delete this one. That's what I would do, if anyone else knows a better way feel free to share.
So today I transplanted into bigger pots. Same medium I don't expect a lot of new growth in the next week while they recover from shock but I prefer there home now over their old home. Pics 1&2 new homes pic 3 before transplant
