Honestly so gutted at the moment just went to check my plants and my best one looks like it has bud rot starting. It smells amazing ive never smelt anything like it i was so looking foward to trying some GSC If i cut it and cut out the mouldy parts will that help? Im not even sure i have anywhere to dry them indoors yet! Can i leave them in tupperware or glass jars outside with the top ajar slightly in the shade? The trichomes have started lookig cloudy ive noticed a sort of colour differnce in the trichomes with my eye its not as clear anymore. I know what ive read to do but as its my first go i like to be re assured or get pointers
Soooo i went and cut the GSC down as it has alot of cloudy trichomes and virtually no clear. How have i done for my first trimming job it smells amazing i didnt think it looked to bad either Also what about the way i hsve hung them to dry will it work?
Remove fan leaves near buds ,get in as close as you can I remove part stem if it's infected and tape what's left to try avoided chopping colas that aren't ready. Some times there's no choice but to harvest early. I've had to harvest bigger tops first this season and leave lower bud sites time to finish
Yeah thats what i did, except the tape. I didnt want to risk leaving it and getting worse as it was my favourite the started ha ha. Hopefully the gorilla glue will be done soon! Got any ways I can try some of the one i have cut? its been hanging for 2 days now. Hope all your are okay now! at least we have had a bit of sun.
Congrats man , just getting a harvest with the summer we have had is an achievement, I usually use oven if I want a sample quick, but there's loads of ways to speed it up the problem is slowing it down.
Cheers bro hopefully my other 3 make it ha ha thy are groing really slow now. My gorilla glues leaves have almost all turned yellow but i cant see amber trichomes. Took the little nubby one down today left that to dry lets hope thats all okay.what do you mean by slowing it down?
Down to preference lol I like a little bit of moisture , just watch they don't dry to quick taste and smell will be effected if they are exposed to to much heat while drying the potency ( over 140 I think ) and it's fucked I could be wrong,
Yeah its not getting yeah its not getting that hot in england anytime soon ha ha! Its in the shade and gets some air it so should be okay just worried about all of it so close anf two diff harvests
C Cheers bro a moment of stoned creativity when i realised I had nowhere to hang and dry it ha ha. about 13 weeks bro. I think ill be taking down the gorilla glue soon as well I will do mate excited is an understatement to try my own grown bud ha ha. Especially when its a strain I have not tried.
You see that about me getting pulled then ha ha. Sad times man probably going to lose my licence and get a lil record. There goes my clean slate lol. Its pathetic how i will now be classed as a criminal because our country has a stupid ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY so even if i had not smoked for a week i would probably still lose my licence. How are you allowed more heroin or alcohol in your blood absolutely baffles me. I was honestly going to go into a little rant but theres no point its all a joke like our police force. I got pulled for going 36 in a 30 zone because they decide to setup speed traps on a hill WHEN KIDS ARE OFF SHCOOL. This means all the people who pay tax and contribute to society get fucked up for wanting to get to work a bit quicker because the traffic has finnaly cleared up for 6 weeks out of the year. I cant work it out why penalise the people who contribute. I honestly have a hatred for the police, the system, the law the country how it all works. The buddier one i have tried smells a bit funny worst thing is im not sure what its meant to smell like ha ha. Got me stoned a bit though ha ha just a shame i have to wait untill march again ill deffo be more prepared this time
