hey everyone i got a question sorta important now i have been havin my clones are 24 hours ...... and i was wondering if i change it to 18 6 if it will will spark the flowering stage.... i dont want to start flowering just yet so will it spark it or is it only when switched to 12 12 that it will start the flowering stage ???????
It won't spark it, but it will start it slowly. Flowering begins when a certain amount of a hormone is present. That hormone is created during dark hours. Unless your plant is auto-flowering, keeping it in the light for 24 hours would keep it from ever flowering and giving it 6 hrs. of dark would allow small amounts of the hormone to begin accumulation. Congrats on the first grow. I just finished mine and its drying. Starting the second round now.
