Hey guys, first time poster here- long time lurker. Im planning on my first grow and its ended up being a outdoor guerilla grow. I have a hole bout 2ft tall x2ftwide x1ft deep. I hear the best option is to do a 3x3x3 but ive hit a tough layer of rock. In its current state itd be much more room than a 5gal container so should i Plant it in ground (small hole) or in a container? Tl:dr- plant an outdoor plant in a 2 x 2 hole, 1 foot deep, or in a 5gal container? Thanks a bunch for the help
find a spot with deeper soil, eg. near a forest, or plant in a container eg Smart Pots - Container Gardening, Hydroponic Fabric Containers
Those smart pots^^ work well I use them myself or if you are pressed for cash you can grab a box of those thick blk plastic bags and get busy
Thick plastic bags? I don't know man, I would rather use something designed for horticulture. if you can't afford a smart pot, ($45 for a 200 gallon pot- are you kidding?) just grow in the dirt. hope you can get some vermicompost and kelp and alfalfa meals, they will really give your plants growth a kick.
That I can understand that^but if its a guerilla grow I would think u would want to keep your costs minimal If doing a couple plants it could get pricey
