OK so I need some advice, I've obviously been a long term smoker and seen quite a few grow projects but everyone does it different and with their own methods. I'll explain what I have already bought and what I need still and what advice I need- I have purchased this Hydroponic Box- Stealth Hydroponic Grow Box PC Style Grow Cabinet Complete System XL 3 Foot Tall | eBay %3D4319176647499358334%26pid%3D100012%26prg%3D1014%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D330842967777%26 It is a 3ft tall grow box with 8 spots, it seems like a pretty decent set-up for the price I had paid, close to $175. Here are the concerns I have- 1. It does not list what type of lights it uses nor the wattage, I figured it worst comes to worst, I'll have to purchase some better lights. 2. I'm a little worried about what nutrients and organics I should use if any. 3. I am debating whether I should do a SOG method or possibly 2 SCROG but the problem is I am starting from seeds and I still need to purchase some seeds and trying to figure out which would be the best for my setup before I purchase them. Along with find out if I want to do SOG or SCROG because from what I've read SOG works best and only good from a clone and not from seedlings. So, so far all I have purchased is the box and it is on its way, next I am deciding what type of nutrients, seeds and method I should use for the set-up I have and what would be the most profitable. Would love to hear some of yall's opinions, views or any other concerns you might have with my setup.
Here is a picture of the grow box, isnt the best but it just came in today. It seems to be Height: 36 inches Width: 18inches Depth: 12inches. I was thinking it was going to have a little more depth and width to it but I guess not. The bulbs are Meijer corp ET23MSLT2E-65 23Watts 1200 Lumens looks like they are CFLs and came with 3 of them. To me this doesn't seem like enough light for 4-6 plants and not even sure if I can fit them in the space unless I do an small SoG batch. Any help please? Suggestions?
