So she seems to be growing. Seems like I'm seeing new leaf growth daily. Seems to me like she's growing a little slow. 17 days since she sprouted.

Started week 2 of my nute mix. 4 gallons for the week. I've been feeding twice a day morning and night, 1qt per feeding. Not sure if that's right or makes sense but she's not complaining.

GH ArmorSi 2ml per gal

She's growing but still feel like she's a little slow. She is 3 weeks since popping out of the ground. She looks healthy so I'll keep doing what I'm doing unless anyone sees something I should do different.

Just removed some fan leaves. She's so thick and short. I honestly thought by now she would be taller. Hoping removing some fan leaves she will start to shoot up.

Just cleaned up some foliage and took my first shot at training her. I had no idea her stalk and stems were as thick as they were.

So my girl had some leaves with little holes on them previous to defoliating. Those leaves were removed. Well yesterday I noticed a couple more leaves have some holes once again.

I'm thinking I have a critter that comes out during the dark period. Ordered some neem and a sprayer to hopefully nip this in the bud. I have no idea how or where any insects would come from with everything frozen outside and this tent being shut in this cold ass room in my basement.

Side note, I'm getting a little frustrated with my plant. She's growing and filling out but she's short as hell. Her leaves grow like crazy. I just trimmed her back to open her up for light and air flow and I'm seeing that I could almost clear more out again. As far as height goes she doesn't seem to move.

Is it possible 5000k lights will keep her more compact and not strech out? Running 2x qb288's 5000k at 140w total, and qb96 5000k at 40w both 18" from canopy.

I just don't understand how she grows thick and fills out but refuses to get taller. Very frustrated.

If you look I have a temp sensor mounted at canopy level that I use to judge height growth. While the leaves and other shoots seem to be growing her height seems very sluggish and never really changes. Shes going on a month and half since sprout.

 

Been awhile since I updated. She's grown alot but not up. She's short and fat. From what I've read this isn't a bad thing.

From what I can tell she's happy and healthy. I'm back to targeting VPD so I'm running warmer temps and higher humidty, high 70's for temps and low 60's for RH.

I just trimmed some fan leaves and updated my tie downs. I increased light height and dimmed my lights to about 45% to try and get some stretch.
