4x4 Tent w/2x 280(actual watts) /1000w (LED watts) Hanging LED panels and a small dual head flexible lamp with approx 20w per head. Started seeds with LED lamp and 2x30wCFLs in FoxFarm ocean floor soil. Vegged for different times 6 weeks at the longest for the 2 x Purple Kush in 5 gals in the back (was 3 but one hermed) 4 weeks for the other 10 plants in 1 gallon pots (2 X Super animal cookies 4 X Purple urkle 1x Hash plant 2x and some bag seeds (some good ones!) And I did a patch of 9 x Blue Knight which were 12/12 from seed I fed them fox farm Big bloom, grow big and now tiger bloom a little under the feeding chart for most and a little over on the nitrogen basses one for the kushes as the eat a lot (I have not yet fed the blue knights as they are only about 3 weeks old) Everything has gone really well so far in my grow. I pulled no males at first then I had a hermaphrodite, which was heartbreaking as it was 4 feet tall (Purple Kush) without the 5 gallon bucket. Then the blue knights came into maturity and I saw 5 males. But at least I'm pretty sure I caught them before pollination so I should be good. I should have started this journal with a little introduction so, I think I'll do one now. I'm Erik, a 35 year old army veteran who has chronic pain from injuries related to the service. I'm living in California now and I've used cannabis on and off for years (off because I couldn't smoke in the Army or for other jobs) but living in a legal state for the past 3 years now has really rekindled my love for Mary Jane. I got out of the service in what was then a non-legal state and worked in a hospital in which they drug tested. So, when my injuries and PTSD would cause me issues I'd go to the VA (like we are taught to do) and they would give me pills. I had issues with the prescriptions and when I went in to the VA hospital and told them about these issues they gave me more prescriptions. I was on 9 when I moved to California and they were killing me. The pain killers, muscle relaxers, benzos, adderol, Paxil and I don't remember what all else all got traded cannabis. Which for me worked better than the prescriptions and had no side effects. Yet alas, medical marijuana is expensive and I am on disability so I am starting now to grow my own to curb the cost and maybe eventually not have to buy any. I do require large amounts as I'm a big Viking and have serious chronic conditions so to find out what method will work best for me in the future for my first grow I have done different veg times for this grow from 6 weeks to 12/12 from seed and that way I can see what will produce what I need. Lol I feel like this intro was kinda depressing so let me just say I'm doing really well and I don't take any prescriptions anymore and I'm really enjoying learning and growing.
I fed the mature plants (fox farm Big bloom, grow big and tiger bloom) and watered the young ones today u also did some defoliation. They look great but I'm going to leave them alone for a while so they can heal. I'll update more later.
Looks like you need a defoliation. The buds not being exposed to light will cause a lighter yield. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have done some defoliation now. It's kinda crowded in there. (I'll definitely plant less next time) I believe I have 20 now after moving some male blue knight little 12/12 from seed guys. This is probably day 48 now of true flowering. Let me explain, I was counting since the flip and people on here informed me "flowering" doesn't start until pistils show so since that time it's been about 48 days. That said I've been meaning to update so. Here's Everyone today Purple Kush purple urkle Blue knight (12/12 from seed) Purple Kush.. This plant has 4 colas that look like this now and 3 more smaller Super animal cookies (also a 4 X main and a couple smaller colas) More cookies purple Kush I've been giving them some disolved cane sugar every third watering when I wasn't feeding. Fed today and been every three watering or so. Just waiting, trying to be patient lol BUT... I had to prune some lower stuff to lollipop them a little to get them to focus on growing buds and I got some popcorn nugs off them, dried them and PHEW! It's some strong medicine....that's for sure Really looking forward to it. About 3-4 more weeks for most of them I think

Oh, Mg instead of Cl and sulfur instead of Na. Makes sense if it's got no chloride ions in it. Very interesting, although I just use CalMag. Very sly mate... Oh and I quit drinking too lol
I just wanted to update. They are all looking great in there. Almost done. I started flushing a while ago with molasses and harvested 3 yesterday Super animal cookies Hash plant And a bag seed I nute burnt a long time ago and she never quite grew right. I've been smoking this herm I cut down a couple weeks ago. It's GREAT! Still looking very full in there. I think one more week or so for the rest.
