First Grow- CFL - 2 White Widow Clones

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by BlackBeard, Nov 18, 2009.

  1. This is my first grow. I am using 200 watts of CFLs for 2 clones I got off of a friend and I have started to run into some problems 2 weeks into flowering. Heres some background to my grow. I built a homemade box with 2 exhaust fans and one osculating fan inside of it. The dimensions of the box are 2x2x4 feet. I used FFOF soil and have been testing the ph on a regular basis. It has been right around 6.4 - 6.8. The lower fan leaves have started yellowing and are browning around the edges. The upper new growth is looking more yellow then green as well. I haven't used any fertilizer yet. I was wondering what you think the problem might be, and how to fix it. Here are some pictures.

    Thanks

  2. 6.4 - 6.8 is pretty high... and that is probably why the leaves are turning yellow..
Bring the PH down between 5.8 - 6.2 and it might bring them around..

    Just my two cents..

    +rep for White Widow... :hello:

  3. 6.3-6.8 is optimum ph for soil grows. Your girls look hungry to me. Good luck!
