First ever keif hit

    So about 2 weeks ago I purchased my first ever 4 piece grinder, and have been using it since. Being low on bud (and saving what I have left for the gf's bday on the weekend) I faced cleaning my room sober. NEVER! I cried aloud and dove for the grinder, half filling a cone with some dried chamomile flowers and scrapping what keif I could from the tray on top. I got a pretty thick dusting over the entire cone (maybe half a mm with no gaps in the coverage?) And lit that sucker up 2 hours ago. I am only just now starting to fade back a bit, enough at least to type (and post). My room also seems to be clean... though I'm not entirely sure where stuff is.

    All I can say is wow. :)

    Yeah man, I love kief joints. I was really sceptical the first time I tried it but, damn it's a good time. I'm the only guy with a grinder in a house full of stoners, so I get a pretty good kief haul every week.


    Might have to skin up a kiefy j right now.

    I was organizing my pics into albums last night on my iPhone and came across this. I'm not trying to hijack your thread, but as a helpful suggestion from stoner to stoner:

    You'll never get a great amount of kief from that grinder. I bought a kief box for $65, and I've never been so happy.

    This is the kief I'd collect from 1-2 ounces of dank usually in my grinder:

    I'm in the same situation as you right now and it's awesome because it's like my grinder never runs out of kief between me and some of my roommates constantly grinding weed :hello::smoke:

    Rasta, wouldn't the keif you collect still be present on the weed I have when I smoke it then...? Also given the effect just a small portion from maybe 2 grams of weed got me... :p That much may just be... overkill. Or couch lock for 24 hours :p

    I've been inspired to buy a kief box. how weird of a word kief is, i wonder what its language of origin is. I might buy one of these boxes and just buy an ounce for the hell of it. If i bought high mids (not very dense trichromes) how much kief would i be expecting as opposed to using quality dank?

    you get more keif off of drier weed.. also if yu put a nickel in ur grinder nd then pound it alot after grinding
