    Setup is as follows:

    Intake - 2 4" Passive holes

Exhaust - 6 IN" inline fan w/ carbon filter.

    Lighting - 2 30 Watt 6500K CFL, 1 42 Watt 6500k CFL, 1 42 Watt 2700k CFL ( currently on 24/0 cycle, temps around 81 degrees)

It is four days in and i think that is is looking pretty good, as you can notice in the pictures some of the leaves are pointing upwards, any reason for that?

I know it is still a baby i will be posting more pictures as it matures. Ive been watering the rapid rooter with 6.5 PH adjusted aged water. Nutrients i plan on using are Floranova for flowering and Age old grow for vegetation i plan on using nuts within the next 2 weeks or so.

Any comments, questions or tips would be appreciated, im looking forward to see how it turns out.

  2. good luck, ill be watching

  3. dude what's that shit your growing in? it looks like a shitload of oranges or something :smoke:

  4. Is this a hydro grow?
if so then a ph of 6.5 is a little too high.
(which would explain the curling leaves)
I've never grown hydro (I'm halfway through my first grow in soil)
but I eventually plan on making dwc buckets and I remember reading the ph should be somewhere around 5.5-6 (look it up online for specifics.)
but nice start to your grow.

I'm growing in a rapid rooter and the "oranges" are hydroton pebbles which is used for a substitute of soil.

Yes this is a hydro grow, i watered my rapid rooter this morning with a PH of 5.5.

  6. Update: Lights have been off for 48 hours due to power problems, all lights are back up and working and plant is still looking healthy, pics to come soon - will the 48 hours of dark affect anything except for slower growth?

  7. What do you think, how are they lookin?
