Filters?

    Might have heard this alot, but is there glass filters? Aren't Chillums a type of bong filter? Is a filter absolutely necessary to use smoking anything? THNX

    1) Glass filters? There are glass screens/gauzes. For example,

    2) Chillums are generally a small, narrow pipe not a type of bong filter. Example,

    3) Filters/screens are helpful when using bongs if you want to load kief, etc and if you have decently ground up weed. You can just put a small nug at the bottom of the bowl though. If by filters you mean joint filters, they're not absolutely necessary but definitely better..

    If you were wondering, most filters weed smokers use do nothing to actually "filter" the smoke, they are just there to keep the weed in the bowl from slipping past.
