Fertilizers On A Budget

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by waynesumner, Jun 1, 2013.

  1. i want a simple line of nutrients for all stages at a reasonable price

  2. Alaskan fish fertilizer for veg and Alaskan morbloom for bud. It's sold everywhere it works and cheap.

If you're trying to get by with as little as possible, you can use kelp meal in veg and flower. It's the most versatile nutrient you'll find. Fish emulsions are good in veg too, but I wouldn't use them in flower.

Last season I used kelp, alfalfa, and molasses for veg, and kelp with high p guano for flowering and had great results.

  4.
SG1 thread has lots of good info

  5. horse manure (N) for 1st month (10% volume)
then horse manure + chicken manure (both need to be composted) (20% volume).

if you can get these, then that's all you need (in conjunction to an airy soil mix)

also you can use compost and chicken manure. Chicken manure is the most complete fertilizer (high NPKs)

  6. ok i have chicken shit going to put some on the plants right now(fuck them chickens need to wake up anyways(*hehe 3 am*)) umm my neighbor has a donkey.. what about some info on that shit(literally).. umm im really busy so just checking GC in a lil... going to scoop some chicken shit and place around the plants.. any and all info will be appreciated :metal: .

     I wouldn't do that
chicken shit, esp, non composted, meaning not 1 year old in a pile, WILL severely burn your plants

donkey manure is probably similar to horse manure, idk, but it should be composted as well! When top dressing plants with manures (even composted) place in a circle around the plant and not directly above it, where root ball is.
