So I am trying to get my lighting requirements down so I can actually purchase something. I think I am going to make my room 4' x 5' and put two 600w HPS lights in it. My first grow will have 6-8 plants, so I want to start out with half of the lighting, one 600w. Can you look at my possible configurations and give me any feedback that would help me? Which looks best? Is there a better configuration? Am I doing something wrong? ANYTHING you can tell me that would help me! The configurations are really the same, just a little more spread out.
is this in a tent? or a mylar/ panda lined room? two 6 hundred watt ballasts in a proper room it wont really matter how their placed.. its gonna be super bright... like the sun... consider a single 1K watt ballast for ease and convenience... ducting two lights and filtering two lights is just a super extra pain for 200 extra watts... Platinum Grower's Package - 1000W - 4 x 4 Tent - Free pH Meter! - IndoorGrowSource.com - Hydroponics Headquarters! this for the win
Panda being the black and white plastic, I assume? That is what I am using. Will one 1000 watt cast over those dimensions well? I am aiming for 12 plants, so what dimensions would you suggest?
if you have 12 plants it might be better to use the two 600's.. but it will be a challenge to vent and cool that space... unless your using a single air cooled reflector... please start a journal... and take lots of pics.. this will be a awesome grow
