Feds in the city?

    Hey folks,

    I was just wondering if fed. agents etc. would wonder around forums like this to learn whats new among the smoking society (techniques, what people do to not get caught, where people grow, even to identify growers who are careless about their identity etc.).

    It might sound stupid, but my stoned mind is seeking an answer! lol


    ps: i did a lot of search around the city for a similar discussion before posting this. but sorry anyways if there is a pre-existing post similar to this!

    Ya thats kinda what I was thinking too. most people here are not even worth the time to go after! Im sure they would be after growers not smokers!

    Too much work for them. Unless real life is like CSI and Law and Order... and they track your websites, figure out your username because you posted a picture of your face which had your street address in the background and a bong in your hand with visible marijuana....... then I doubt it.

    haha, thats funny. No one cares that much about busting someone who smokes pot! I dont even think there is enough budget for that!

    The only thing I can think of is large scale growers. This would be a very easy way to identify them and find them. Just by running an IP search you can get a name and an address. But they wouldn't be looking for your average toker, and probably not your average grower. Just the huge ones.

    The web is under the jurisdiction of a task force operated by Interpol, which primarily focuses on European activity. It is very common for people in Western culture to purchase internet domains from European or Asian countries for the purpose of operating porn or warez sites that would be illegal in their own country.

    North American "feds" do have a bit of sway when it comes to domains registered in America. But even then, they'd still have to go through the appropriate channels with Interpol before they could even make a move. With exception to terrorism, it simply isn't worth their time.

    lol, if ur somebody in the business, then you are one of them... and if ur an average joe, then you are their customer. why would they wanna fuck up their own business now that i think about it!

    Well even if they are made by the feds, i dont care. I smoke legally. but i talked to a few cops and they said the doctor's recommendations does not mean shit to them. it really depends on the cops to recognize and respect the document. at least in my area is like that. :(

    Ya i would say most cops can be assholes but i would not want to hurt them!! they are people too, i have a few cop friends who smoke with me sometimes. (but not very often, they are special forces and get drug tested periodically)

    Im for reforming laws and reducing their powers. but keep in mind that one day without cops and feds, will bring CHAOS to cities like NYC, LA, etc.

    still, they are cocky assholes.

    yeah it was only a joke. i wouldnt actually shoot at any cops, im not tryin to get a life sentence over here!!!

    it was suppose to be a metaphor for them to just leave us the fuck alone and do "real" police work instead
