I'm considering getting a super room tent setup, have seen the limitations of the cabinet I got. So the the question is are the 'phat' muffers good or some other brand. I would want keep the noise to a minimum if I go the tent route thx
I run a phat muffler in my room. They are very effective in reducing the noise produced by the moving air. Just don't expect it to magically make your ventilation system whisper quiet. Moving air makes noise, no way around that, but it will make a signifigant difference. I also run a fan speed controller whi h allows me to control the speed of the fan, in turn dampening the sound even further. I hang my fans using heavy duty bungees which eliminates any vibration. Believe me, vibration is a killer when it comes to a "stealth" setup. Good luck!
