Hey guys. I just wanted to share something with you, it made me feel good about myself. I was watching Family Guy with one of my really good buddies and I was pretty high lol..and this seen made me feel extremely happy. Brian: I don't know what went wrong. I was just trying to live for the moment, you know? Because life can end so abruptly and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Stewie: Is that why you've been on this path to self destruction? Stewie: You know, Brian. As smart as you are, you've got to accept the fact that there are some things in life that you just can't control. Brian: You mean the way you can't control that messed up way that you laugh when you think something is really really funny? Stewie: Yes, and I accept that. Your problem is you think that just because you're not in control, nothing matters. Th-That YOU don't matter. But you know what? Stewie: You matter to someone. Stewie: You matter big time. Recently, this summer being off school and all I began to think a lot about life and how fragile it is. My parents are really religious and my friends would rather not talk about philosophy. For the past couple of weeks I've just been really pointless and uninterested in everything I did and figured that there wasn't a meaning to life so I should just end mine. I watched this show and completely missed what they were talking about until my friend caught it and repeated it to me and explained how incredible that scene was. He made me realize that we're only here because other people care about us and even if life doesn't seem to mean much we mean a lot to others. I then remembered my sister, parents and my buddy who clarified this for me. Family Guy made me genuinely happy for the first time in a while. What a great show man..
OMG MAN... I am totally in your boat right now. I mean, I've always been the guy who is upbeat and tries to keep a smile on the face and a joke on my lips to make everyone else around me have a good time. But offten do I forget just how much I can hurt on the inside sometimes. You know. and then it gets bottled up. but i digress. The point is, I just read that and rememberd seeing that scene before and was like. WOW!!!!! You know, it's true. Everyone means something to someone. Sometimes we get so selfish and can't see past the nose on our face. But you know, If we end our life then someone is gonna cry. Maybe that girl that works with you. You know, the one that always tries to be nice but no one really notices her. Or your mother or father, brother or sister, aunt or uncle, grandma or grandpa. And your friends. I mean, come on, you have at least one other person besides family in your contact list. SOMETIMES WE NEED TO STEP ASIDE, SMELL THE ROSES, SLOW THE ENGINE RUNNING, AND JUST REALIZE THAT LIFE IS AMAZING, AND YOU HAVE NO WHERE TO GO BUT UP.
