Exhaust fan is very loud. Any altenative?

    Hey guys, I am running a 4x4x7 tent with a 6inch inline fan (exhaust) from vivosun. It runs pretty damn loud. Are there other 6inch inline fans that are significantly quieter? I don't mind if it isn't as powerful.

    Could always try a pc fan but I'm sure it would be way less powerful

    Build a insulated box for it or try hanging it if it’s on the floor.

    put it on a speed control, run it about 75% and it will be quieter,

    use insulated ducting, suspend the fan with rubber bungee cords, they make "mufflers" also.

    Ill look into insulated ducting. I am running it on its lowest speed and it's still quite loud

    Build a box to put the fan into and insulate it.

    Get a phresh silent hyperfan. There so good. I always use normal hyper fans but just purchased a silent one and OMG. Silent ducting too and you will have no problem I swear.
