this month (and months before for that matter) the brightest object in the sky besides the moon and sun will be in some great locations. Venus will be rising very early saturday morning.

In Venus' vicinity, there will be the brightest star in the constellation Leo, Regulus.... and below that is Saturn. The three will make a triangle and the top will be pointing to a cresent moon.

The early rise of Venus is great because there is about 2 hours before the sun rises from below all the objects.

  2. It's been visible in the UK for about a month, unbelievably bright, seems twice its normal size:)
